69 – Ibn al-Razzāz, Saʿīd ibn Muḥammad ibn Saʿīd al-Baghdādī *
The eminent, upright judge, Abū Manṣūr Saʿīd ibn Muḥammad—son of the Shaykh of the Shāfiʿīs, Abū al-Manṣūr Saʿīd ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿUmar Ibn al-Razzāz al-Baghdādī.
He was born in 543 AH.
He heard the Ṣaḥīḥ from Abū al-Waqt al-Sijzī, and also studied with Naṣr ibn Naṣr al-ʿUkbarī and Abū al-Faḍl al-Urmawī.
Those who transmitted from him include Ibn al-Dubaithī, Abū ʿAbd-Allāh al-Barzālī, Najīb al-Dīn al-Miqdād, and a number of others.
My father related to me, through al-Miqdād, from him.
He died suddenly on the 2nd of Muḥarram 616 AH, in Baghdad.
I myself auditioned the complete Ṣaḥīḥ from the great ḥadith master Abū al-Ḥajjāj Yūsuf ibn al-Zakī al-Kalbī, by way of his audition from al-Najīb al-Qaysī, who in turn had taken it from him.

70 – al-ʿAmīdī, Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad **
