Those who transmitted from her were: Abū Mūsā ibn ʿAbd al-Ghanī, Shaykh al-Ḍiyāʾ, the eminent Isḥāq al-Abarqūhī, and Abū Bakr ibn Nuqṭah, who said (1): “I heard from her the Muʿjam al-Kabīr, al-Fitan by Nuʿaym, and other works besides these.”
I say: Among those who narrated from her by ijāza were Aḥmad ibn Salāmah, al-Burhān ibn al-Darajī, Ibn Shaybān, al-Fakhr ʿAlī, and Khadījah bint al-Shihāb ibn Rājiḥ.
Al-Ḍiyāʾ stated: “She was born in Dhū al-Ḥijjah of the year 510 AH and died in Rabīʿ al-Ākhir 606 AH.”
Ibn Nuqṭah said: “She passed away in Rabīʿ al-Ākhir—or in Jumādā al-Ūlā.”
