Qāḍī Muʿīn al-Dīn ʿAlī ibn Abī al-ʿAbbās al-Mālikī of Alexandria narrated to us. He said:
I read before Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm ibn al-Jirj, who transmitted from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿUbayd Allāh al-Ḥāfiẓ; and Abū al-Qāsim Muḥammad ibn ʿImrān al-Ḥaḍramī also informed me. Abū Isḥāq al-Ghāfiqī related to us on more than one occasion; Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Azdī narrated to us; and Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAṭiyya al-Jābirī likewise. They both said:
Qāḍī ʿIyāḍ ibn Mūsā told us; Muḥammad ibn ʿĪsā al-Tamīmī and Hishām ibn Aḥmad related to us, saying:
Abū ʿAlī al-Ghassānī reported to us; Abū ʿUmar al-Namarī reported to us; Ibn ʿAbd al-Muʾmin reported to us; Abū Bakr al-Tammār reported to us; Abū Dāwūd reported to us; Muḥammad ibn Salamah reported to us; Ibn Wahb reported to us from Ḥaywah, Ibn Luhayʿah and Saʿīd ibn Abī Ayyūb, from Kaʿb ibn ʿAlqamah, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Jubayr, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr, who said:
He heard the Prophet ﷺ say:
“When you hear the muʾadhdhin, repeat what he says, then invoke blessings upon me. Whoever invokes one blessing upon me, Allah will bless him ten times. Then ask Allah to grant me al-Wasīlah, for it is a rank in Paradise that will be given to only one servant of Allah, and I hope that I will be that servant. Whoever asks Allah to grant me al-Wasīlah will be entitled to my intercession.”
Narrated by Muslim (4).
