—Abū al-Ḥusayn al-Khaffāf, who said: Abū al-ʿAbbās al-Sarrāj informed us; Hannād ibn al-Sarī narrated to us; Wakiʿ narrated to us, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Nāfiʿ, from his father, from Ibn ʿUmar who said:
“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘None of you should deliberately time his prayer for the moment when the sun rises, nor when it sets.’”
ʿAbd Allāh ibn Nāfiʿ was judged weak (1).
