He died in 382 AH.
350 – al-Dimimmī, Abū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī ibn Ḥassān ibn al-Qāsim *
The venerable, long-lived shaykh Abū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī ibn Ḥassān ibn al-Qāsim al-Jadalī al-Dimimmī (1) was the last person to relate from Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh Muṭayyan.
Among those who narrated from him were: Abū Khāzim Muḥammad ibn al-Farrāʾ, Abū al-Qāsim al-Tanūkhī, Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-Ṣaymarī, and the judge Abū al-Ḥasan Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq al-Quhastānī, who was a teacher of Abū Ṣādiq al-Madīnī.
Abū Khāzim said, “People spoke against him.” He passed away toward the end of 383 AH; if that date is accurate, he was nearly one hundred years old.
351 – al-Qawwās, Abū al-Fatḥ Yūsuf ibn ʿUmar ibn Masrūr **
The imām, exemplar, devout worshipper, hadith scholar, and reliable authority, Abū al-Fatḥ Yūsuf ibn ʿUmar ibn Masrūr al-Baghdādī, known as al-Qawwās.
He was born in 300 AH and heard hadith from Aḥmad ibn al-Mughallis and ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad.
…whereupon He—although He knows them best—asks: “Who are you?” They reply: “We are the people of hadith.” Allah then says: “Enter Paradise despite whatever faults you had, for you constantly invoked blessings upon My Prophet while on earth.”
Al-Khatib judged this report to be fabricated and laid the responsibility for it on al-Raqqi. Imam al-Dhahabi likewise remarks in al-Mizan, 4/73, that al-Raqqi forged a false narration and passed it to al-Tabarani about scholars being resurrected with their inkwells.
