189 – ʿUmar ibn Bishrān ibn Muḥammad ibn Bishr ibn Mihrān al-Baghdādī,
Imām, ḥāfiẓ, and firmly reliable authority, Abū Ḥafṣ al-Baghdādī, known as al-Sukkari.
He heard ḥadith from Aḥmad ibn al-Ḥasan al-Ṣūfī, ʿAbd Allāh ibn Zaydān al-Bajalī, Abū al-Qāsim al-Baghawī, and their peers. He was the brother of the grandfather of Abū al-Ḥusayn ibn Bishrān the muʿaddil.

The shaykh, the imām, yet a weak transmitter, Abū Bakr Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Yaʿqūb al-Jarjarāʾī, known as al-Mufīd.
He narrates from Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Saqaṭī—unknown—on the authority of Yazīd ibn Hārūn, and he transmitted the Muwaṭṭaʾ from al-Ḥasan ibn ʿUbayd Allāh—no one knows who he was—on the authority of
