50 – Shujaʿ narrated to us; Hushaym narrated to us; Yunus informed us, saying: “I witnessed the people before the Ibn al-Ashʿath uprising while it was the month of Ramadan. ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr, a Companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, together with Saʿid ibn Abi al-Hasan and Marwan al-ʿAbdi, would lead them in prayer. They performed twenty rakʿahs, did not recite the qunut except in the second half of the month, and completed the entire Quran twice.”
