4 – Ibrāhīm ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to us; he said: Ibn al-Mubārak narrated to us; he said: al-Ḥajjāj ibn Arṭāh narrated to us, from Yaḥyā ibn Abī Kathīr, from ʿUrwah, from ʿĀʾishah, that the Prophet ﷺ, when mentioning the middle night of Shaʿbān, said: “On that night Allah forgives sins in numbers greater than the hairs on the sheep of the tribe of Kalb.”
