37 – Al-Hasan ibn ʿAli narrated to us; he said: Hisham ibn ʿAmmar narrated to us; he said: Salam ibn Sawwar narrated to us; he said: Maslamah ibn al-Salt narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “The beginning of the month of Ramadan is mercy, its middle is forgiveness, and its end is release from the Fire.”
