3 – Hārūn ibn ʿUmar al-Qurashī narrated to us; he said: al-Walīd ibn Muslim narrated to us, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Lahīʿah, who said: Isḥāq ibn ʿAbd Allah narrated to me, from Makḥūl, from Khālid ibn Maʿdān, from Kathīr ibn Murrah, who said: “I met the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as they were relating a report from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that I have never forgotten:

‘Indeed, on the night of mid-Shaʿbān Allah—glorified and exalted is He—forgives every servant except a polytheist or one who harbors rancor.’”
