Issue: We have previously mentioned that the scholars differed regarding feeding the poor: is intercourse permissible during it, or is it not? We explained the disagreement on this point. But if it is held that intercourse is not permissible before feeding the poor, and then, after he has fed thirty needy persons, he has intercourse with his wife, must he restart the feeding, just as he must restart the fast, or not?

According to the established school, the consecutiveness is not interrupted if he has intercourse while feeding the poor, on the basis that consecutiveness is not stipulated for it. Thus, even if he feeds them all at once, it suffices. This supports the second view.
