because he says, “If you go out to anywhere other than the bathhouse,” whereas here she went out intending both. They say: because, by intending somewhere other than the bathhouse when she went out, it is true to say that she went out to somewhere other than the bathhouse.

Not so if he gives her unrestricted permission to go out whenever she wishes, or if he says, “Except with Zayd’s permission,” and Zayd dies and she subsequently goes out.

His statement: “Not so if he gives her unrestricted permission to go out whenever she wishes.” Thus, if he says to her, “I have permitted you to go out whenever you wish,” the oath is dissolved for all times.

His statement: “Or if he says, ‘Except with Zayd’s permission,’ and Zayd dies and she subsequently goes out.” If Zayd dies, the oath is dissolved, because it was contingent upon his permission, and his permission after his death is impossible. Likewise, if her husband dies after making her going out contingent upon his permission, she becomes irrevocably separated from him by his death.
