- That it be solely for defense.
- That it not distract him.
His statement, “such as a sword and the like,” means: such as a knife, a short spear, or, in our time, a pistol.
With the praise of Allah Most High, the fourth volume is complete. It will be followed, by the will of Allah, by the fifth volume, which begins with the Chapter on the Friday Prayer.
١ ـ أن يكون دفاعياً فقط.
٢ ـ ألاّ يشغله.
قوله: «كسيف ونحوه» أي: كالسكين، والرمح القصير، وفي وقتنا كالمسدس.
