- Abū Ḥafṣ al-Ṣaffār narrated to us; Jaʿfar ibn Sulaymān transmitted the report; Ibrāhīm ibn ⦗86⦘ ʿĪsā al-Yashkurī said: “It has reached us that when the believer is raised from his grave, two angels greet him. One of them carries a dibājah (brocade cloth) in which there is a burd (striped mantle) and musk, while the other holds a cup—one of the cups of Paradise—filled with a drink. As soon as he emerges from his grave, the first angel perfumes the mantle with the musk and spreads it over him; the other angel pours out a draught and hands it to him. He drinks, and from that moment he will never feel thirst again until he enters Paradise.”
