- Abu Ḥātim al-Rāzī narrated to me; ʿAbd al-Ṣamad ibn Muḥammad reported to us: Fudayl ibn ʿIyāḍ attended a funeral and said, “O so-and-so, by Allah, what you used to dread has now reached you, and what you were only told about you have now seen for yourself.”
٦٨- حدثني أبو حاتم الرازي ثنا عبد الصمد بن محمد قال قال فضيل بن عياض وشهد جنازة فقال يا فلان أتاك والله ما كنت تحذر وعاينت ما كنت تخبر.
