- Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Wahhāb ibn ʿAṭāʾ related; Saʿīd transmitted from Qatādah, who said: It has reached us that Abū al-Dardāʾ saw a man laughing ⦗79⦘ at a funeral and remarked, “Was there nothing in the dread you witnessed of the deceased to divert you from laughing?”
٦٥- حدثنا محمد بن الحسين ثنا عبد الوهاب بن عطاء ثنا سعيد عن قتادة قال بلغنا أن أبا الدرداء نظر إلى رجل يضحك في ⦗٧٩⦘ جنازة فقال أما كان فيما رأيت من هول الميت ما شغلك عن الضحك.
