- Ahmad ibn ‘Imran al-Akhnasi narrated to us; Waki‘ transmitted, from Hasan ibn Salih, who said: I heard al-A‘mash say, “Whenever we accompanied a funeral procession, the mourners were so engulfed in sorrow that we could not tell whom we were supposed to console.”
٣٣- حدثنا أحمد بن عمران الأخنسي ثنا وكيع عن حسن بن صالح قال سمعت الأعمش يقول إن كنا لنتبع الجنازة فما ندري من نعزي من حزن القوم.
