- Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to me; Abu ʿUmar al-Darir narrated to us, from Salih al-Marri, from ʿAli ibn Rafad al-Saʿdi, who said: A funeral procession passed by al-Ahnaf ibn Qays, and he remarked, “May Allah have mercy on the one who wore himself out in preparation for a day like this.”
٣٠- حدثني محمد بن الحسين ثنا أبو عمر الضرير عن صالح المري عن علي بن رفد السعدي قال مر بالأحنف بن قيس جنازة فقال رحم الله من أجهد نفسه لمثل هذا اليوم.
