273 – Al-Jarrāḥ ibn Mukhlad related to us; Dāwūd ibn Shabīb narrated, saying, “While in Syria I came upon a stone that had a ring of stone set into it, and on it was written: ‘Abu Bakr al-Ṣiddīq, ʿUmar al-Fārūq.’”
