264 – Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-ʿAṭṭār related to me: Abū Ṭālib the preacher once stood by a grave after the deceased had been lowered into it and said:

“They brought him to the brink of the Reckoning and then turned away,
Leaving him after all their affection and generous care.”
