259 – Muḥammad narrated to me; Abū Ḥātim ibn Sulaymān al-Aswārī transmitted it to us; al-Mughīrah al-Ṣawwāf said: “In Jerusalem I read an inscription on a brick that proclaimed:

‘Reflect, then behold—has any nation besides you remained after receiving warning? All praise belongs to Allah, who brings the dead to life, and He is powerful over all things.’”
