223 – ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd Allāh related to me, from a certain man, that he said: I read on the dome erected over a grave these words:

O you who tomorrow will pass to the abode of trial,
Leaving behind your loved ones and loyal friends,
The plots prepared for you there hold no distinction;
So choose—if you are wise—a resting-place now.
