207 – Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn narrated to me; Yaḥyā ibn Basṭām ⦗163⦘ narrated to me; ʿAmr ibn al-Zubayr said: “I once read, on a grave in the cemetery that borders the Mahālibah quarter, the following inscription:
Whoever beholds this grave beholds a lesson—
Boulders that weep for faces once radiant.
He added, ‘By Allah, I could not hold myself together.’”
