205 – Muḥammad narrated to us; Sūda ibn Qudāma al-Aswārī narrated: I heard ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Salmān, the devout worshipper, say, “I came upon a grave along one of the coastal routes and read:

Death has joined us to our forefathers—
And everyone who lives will, one day, die.

I asked, ‘Whose grave is this?’ They replied, ‘It is the grave of an old man who lived one hundred and twenty years, then died, and in his will he requested that these words be inscribed upon his grave.’”
