204 – Muḥammad narrated to us; al-Qāsim ibn ʿAmr ibn Muḥammad narrated: A man of the clan of Ḍumrah said, “I passed by a grave in the mountains on the way to Jerusalem. I stopped to look at it, and found inscribed upon it:

O you who pause here quietly—take heed!
For death is an all-consuming task, so remember.”
