- Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd al-Qurashī narrated to us. He said, “I heard my father relate, on the authority of Sharqī ibn Quṭāmī, who said: ‘Two men were bound by brotherhood and affection, but they quarreled and severed ties. One of them died while the estrangement still stood.’” He then proceeded to recount the remainder of the report.
١٦-حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد القرشي قال سمعت أبي عن شرقي بن قطامي قال كان رجلان بينهما إخاء ومودة فتصارما فمات أحدهما على صرامه فذكر الحديث.
