158 – Aḥmad ibn ʿImrān al-Akhnasī related to us. He said: I asked Isḥāq ibn Sulaymān al-Rāzī, and he narrated to me from Ḥarīz ibn ʿUthmān, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Maysarah—who was versed in the Scripture—that he said: A man was brought to account, and his bad deeds outweighed his good deeds. They looked into the matter and found that he had once thrown three handfuls of earth over a grave. When those good deeds were added, the scale tipped, and the good deeds outweighed the bad.
