136 – Muḥammad narrated to me; ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Abān narrated to me; Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAbd al-Aʿlā reported:

There was a man who used to visit the grave of a woman from his family. He related: “One day, while I was beside her grave, drowsiness overcame me, and suddenly she was speaking to me. She said, ‘Do you see these graves? Among all who lie here, none will receive a greater reward than the occupant of this grave.’ I asked, ‘What deed was he known for?’ She replied, ‘He was tried with many afflictions and met them with patience.’”
