134 – Muḥammad narrated to us; Shujāʿ ibn al-Walīd, Abū Badr, narrated to me; al-ʿAlāʾ ibn ʿAbd al-Karīm reported:

“A man passed away, leaving a brother whose eyesight was weak. The brother said, ‘We buried him, and when the people had dispersed I laid my head upon the grave. Suddenly I heard a voice from within the grave asking, “Who is your Lord, and who is your Prophet?” I recognized my brother’s voice and knew it was he as he replied, “Allah is my Lord and Muḥammad is my Prophet.” Then something like an arrow shot up from inside the grave toward my ear, my skin crawled, and I hurried away.’”
