129 – Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn related to me; Abū Isḥāq, the owner of the sheep, related to me, saying:

“I was called to wash a deceased man. When I lifted the cloth from his face, I found a serpent coiled tightly around his throat—its size was tremendous, as I later described. I left at once and did not wash him. People then told me that he had been in the habit of reviling the Salaf (the pious predecessors).”
