124 – Abū ʿAbd Allāh ʿAbd al-Muʾmin ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Mawṣilī told me: A man from Ramla related that a fierce wind once swept through our area and exposed the graves. I saw several of the deceased who had been turned away from the qiblah. We then recalled an elderly shaykh among us—an upright man—who had died eleven days earlier. When we went to his grave, we found him still facing the qiblah, though there was a mark on his nose. We praised Allah for that.
