101 – ʿAbd Allāh … and Mūsā ibn Sulaymān both transmitted—my father related to me from one of the elders of the district, whom I believe to have been Simāk ibn Ḥarb—that Abū al-Dardāʾ once walked through a cemetery and remarked, “How tranquil your surfaces appear, while within you lie dreadful calamities.”
