- Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn narrated to us; Sajaf ibn Manẓūr narrated: I attended ⦗50⦘ a funeral with ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Salmān. When the deceased was lifted from the bier to be placed in his grave, he called out in a loud voice, “O you who have gone on ahead of your brothers! Would that I knew—what answer will you give Him?” He then fell unconscious.
٩- حدثنا محمد بن الحسين ثنا سجف بن منظور قال شهدت ⦗٥٠⦘ عبد العزيز بن سلمان في جنازة فلما حمل الميت من السرير ليوضع في قبره نادى فإذا بصوت له عال أيها المقدم إخوانه ليت شعري ماذا ترد عليه ثم سقط مغشيا عليه.
