, subdued and submissive before His majesty and greatness. Thus none of them should be an equal or partner to Allah in worship or divinity.

Through His lordship, He—glorified be He—nurtures them all, angels, prophets, and others, by creating them, providing for them, governing their affairs, giving them life, and causing them to die.

They thank Him for this by sincerely devoting all worship to Him alone. They worship Him as God and take no protector or intercessor besides Him. Thus, by virtue of His lordship, He—glorified be He—has the right to be worshipped by His servants.”1.
