16 - The Majestic3: (the Majestic, the Great)
He, may Allah Most High have mercy on him, said: “The Majestic, the Great, is the One who possesses the attributes of majesty, namely
(1) Al-Tafsīr, 5:624.
(2) Al-Haqq al-Wādih al-Mubīn, p. 77; Tawdīh al-Kāfiya al-Shāfiya, p. 126.
(3) The shaykh, may Allah have mercy on him, included al-Jalīl (the Majestic) among the names of Allah Most High. However, this name has not been established for Allah Most High. Allah knows best.
(4) The evidence for this name is the statement of Allah Most High: “He is the Most High, the Great” (Sabaʾ 34:23).
الجليل، الجميل
١٦ - الجليل٣: (الجليل، الكبير)
قال رحمه الله تعالى: "الجليل الكبير الذي له أوصاف الجلال؛ وهي
١ التفسير (٥/ ٦٢٤).
٢ الحق الواضح المبين (ص٧٧) توضيح الكافية الشافية (ص١٢٦).
٣ أورد الشيخ ﵀ "الجليل" ضمن أسماء الله تعالى، ولم يثبت هذا الإسم لله تعالى، والله أعلم.
٤ ودليل هذا الاسم قال الله تعالى: ﴿وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ﴾ (سبأ: ٢٣).
