—when He is invoked by it, He answers, and when He is asked by it, He gives.”1.

Likewise, the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Allah’s greatest name is in these two verses: ‘Your God is one God; there is no god but Him, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.’ 2 ‘Allah—there is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the All-Sustaining.’ 3” Reported by Abū Dāwūd and al-Tirmidhī4.

Whenever a servant supplicates to Allah by one of these great names with an attentive, tender, and humbled heart, his supplication will scarcely be rejected. Allah is the One who grants success.”5.
