Tafsir Asma Allah al-Husna li-al-SadiAbd al-Rahman al-Sadi’

Introduction

All praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help and forgiveness, and seek refuge in Allah from the evil within ourselves and from our evil deeds. Whomever Allah guides, none can lead astray; and whomever He leads astray, none can guide. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. May Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, his family, and his Companions.

“O you who believe, fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims.” 1.

“O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from a single soul and created from it its mate, and from the two spread countless men and women. Fear Allah, in whose name you appeal to one another, and be mindful of the ties of kinship. Surely Allah is ever watching over you.” 2.

“O you who believe, fear Allah and speak words of truth. He will rectify your deeds for you and forgive your sins. Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has truly achieved a great triumph.” 34.

To proceed:

The best speech is the Book of Allah, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad, may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him. The worst matters are those newly introduced; every newly introduced matter is an innovation, every innovation is misguidance, and all misguidance leads to the Fire.

Know—may Allah grant you and me success—that Allah has commanded the believers to believe in Him in more than one place

Al-Albānī extensively documented the hadith’s sources in his treatise Khutbat al-Hājah.

المقدمة إن الحمد لله نحمده، ونستعينه، ونستغفره، ونعوذ بالله من شرور أنفسنا ومن سيئات أعمالنا، من يهده الله فلا مضل له، ومن يضلل فلا هادي له، وأشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، وأشهد أن محمداً عبده ورسوله صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم. ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ﴾ ١. ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالاً كَثِيراً وَنِسَاءً وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي تَسَاءَلُونَ بِهِ وَالْأَرْحَامَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيباً﴾ ٢. ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلاً سَدِيداً يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزاً عَظِيماً﴾ ٣٤. أما بعد: فإن خير الحديث كتاب الله، وخير الهدي هدي محمد ﷺ وشر الأمور محدثاتها، وكلّ محدثة بدعة، وكل بدعة ضلالة، وكل ضلالة في النّار. اعلم - وفقني الله وإياك - أنّ الله أمر المؤمنين بالإيمان به في غير موضع
